Karim began his post-secondary studies at Baruch Honors College and is currently working toward a bachelor’s degree at Cornell University.
Last summer he was selected amongst a distinctive group as a 2011 Pearson Prize National Fellow for his commitment to public service. Karim was also given the distinction of Hunter H. Rawlings III Cornell Presidential Research Scholar, an honor awarded to <1% of the undergraduate community. With his grant, he is pioneering a study on structured incentives within inner-city high schools.
At Cornell, he was elected co-chair of a local Big Brother Big Sister organization, as well as co-chair of Black Students United and is an advocate for a nonprofit that provides life insurance education.
Goldman Sachs has awarded him its Scholarship for Excellence and he has completed a summer in their rotational program. Karim is a licensed NYS Realtor, REACH Scholar, and a New York Needs You fellow.
Amy is a junior at Cornell University studying in the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management. She was raised in Stamford, Connecticut, and attended King Low-Heywood Thomas School.
In high school, Amy was a member of the school math team, girls volleyball team, and girls lacrosse team. One of her longest committed volunteer affiliations is with the Women, Infants, and Children (W.I.C.) Program, where she organizes, records and updates health charts for underprivileged families.
Amy is a Big Sister and the Events Coordinator of Ithakids, the Tompkins County Chapter of the National Big Brothers Big Sisters Program. She is also a Cornell Tradition Fellow.
This past summer, Amy interned at Merck in their MMD Business Program within the Global Procurement Division, which allowed her to work on multiple projects that involved consulting stakeholders and perspective vendors.
Upon graduation, Amy is interested in pursuing a career in Consulting.
Andre is a junior at Cornell University studying in the Dyson School of Business as an Applied Economics and Management Major with a double concentration in Finance and Marketing.
Andre attended Lehman high school in the Bronx, where he played football, wrestled, and traveled to Mali, Africa and assisted with the building of a school. Andre was a REACH Scholar and is currently a New York Needs You fellow.
At Cornell, Andre is the Student Seminar Director for Business Opportunities in Leadership and Development (BOLD), where he helps facilitate the Points to Success Program. He is the professional development chair for Black Students United, and is on the Rugby Team.
Andre is a Meinig Family Cornell National Scholar, an honor granted to less than 2% of the University’s undergraduate population.
Last summer, Andre interned at Credit Suisse as a Douglas Paul Scholarship recipient and will be returning there again next summer.

Nicolas is a third year student at Cornell University studying in the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning (AAP) in the Bachelors of Architecture program. He was raised in Queens, NY primarily by his immigrant grandparents.
At Long Island City high school Nicolas was a member of the varsity football team. Nicolas was elected the President of both his graduating class and the school’s chapter of the National Honor Society. Nicolas was a REACH Scholar and is currently a New York Needs You Fellow, for ambitious first-generation college students. As a result of his dedication to community service and social change, Nicolas was awarded a Scholarship from the Coca Cola Scholars Foundation to continue his education at Cornell University.
Last summer, Nicolas administrated Practice Makes Perfect’s inaugural program.
At Cornell, Nicolas continues to stay active as the Vice President of the Minority Organization of Architecture Art and Planning.
Brennan is a junior at Cornell University studying at the School of Hotel Administration. He was raised in Port Washington, N.Y, and attended the University of Denver before transferring to Cornell.
Last summer, Brennan worked for a start-up company called card2car. He traveled around the country meeting with automotive dealerships.
At Port Washington high school, Brennan implemented Rock & Wrap It Up, a grass roots food initiative that takes leftover food from school cafeterias and redistributes it to food banks. In its first year, Rock & Wrap It Up feed 1,500+ families in the community.
Brennan is currently working to implement Rock & Wrap it Up for all of Cornell’s dining around campus and aims to have the program implemented by the end of the academic year.
On campus, Brennan is a part of Hotelie Entrepreneurs and has a desire to continue his passion for entrepreneurship upon graduation.
